Ni Carnahan’s Signature Girl Banner/Business Card Design 2013

I would like to start a tradition of introducing you guys my character designs. I am starting with Ni Carnahan’s Signature Girl ! I have been drawing this circle-face girl to representing me for a long while, and it is about time to introduce this little girl to you. As you can see, I love pen and ink line drawing with patterns. This is also one of my styles that I have been working on. Pen and Ink is always one of my favorite media, and I sketch with it or micro pens on my sketchbooks all the time. I always start with a circle and lines, then I will add music-note feet and hands . I will then add patterns, details, and my own dress design to her(my signature dress of her is Chinese custom as showed in these images). Anyway, you can say that this girl representing who I really am as a person and as an artist. I am working on a set of illustration with my signature girl, and will sell them on my online shop when I am ready. I hope that you guys will come to love this little girl as much as I do! ^_______^

The first one with red dress is one of my favorites. I created this illustration back in 2012,and used Photoshop to enhance this piece later on. I am very satisfied with the result even thought that I wish I could darken the border design better. You can see a larger scale of this piece on “About Ni Carnahan” section on top of this site. The next two images are my copyright stamp designs that I have come up with for my business use.The final image is a banner design that I did for my old blog and I used it for my Facebook page cover previously as well. I decided to use it as one of my business card designs. I had so much fun creating this banner using both traditional and digital tools. I want to explore this combination more when I create.

Anyway, there will be more illustrations/designs with my signature girl along the way. I hope that you will recognize her as Ni when you see her in the future.  Happy creating!
